Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Hinesville, GA 31313

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organizational and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark in local stores. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 to $16.00 depending on skills and experience.
  • We provide paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
  • Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and more.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

  • This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are 6‑7 hours.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities

You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with the supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
  • Department resets: Participate in a team that installs Hallmark fixtures, relocates card departments and products, and resets card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments and may require evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: Support other merchandisers as needed across territories within Hallmark’s field organization.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Read, write, and understand English.
  • Capable of grasping, pulling, lifting, and carrying products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Have access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • Have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Part‑time employees with a schedule less than 30 hours have access to a variety of voluntary benefits including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
