liberty county school system

• must be certified through the georgia high schools athletic association (ghsaa) to be a community (lay) coach
• must pass the criminal background check and meet all hiring requirements established by lcss
• knowledge of the technical aspects of sport applying to
• experience coaching and playing the sport preferred
• such alternatives to the above qualifications as the superintendent of schools may find acceptable and appropriate

• support the head coach in specific aspects of an athletic program
• provide instruction on skills and techniques
• ability to communicate with team and parents
• positive role model to students
• other duties as assigned by the head coach, principal, or superintendent of schools
