This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking to support student success and well-being in schools near Hinesville, GA. As an integral team member, you will be instrumental in conducting assessments, facilitating interventions, and collaborating closely with educators and families.

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia (or eligibility)
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psycho educational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
  • Familiarity with IEP meetings, special education services, and relevant federal/state regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs
  • Interpret data and provide recommendations to inform educational planning and interventions
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services addressing academic and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and monitor intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing expert guidance on student needs
  • Assist in crisis prevention and response, supporting a positive, safe school climate
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
