Position: Business Office Manager I Nursing Home

Harbor House Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Business Office Manager to support the day-to-day financial and front office operations of our facility. We are a skilled nursing center providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Position Summary

The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing resident accounts, financial processes, and front desk operations
. This role works closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure accurate billing, strong customer service, and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resident accounts
    , including personal needs allowance (PNA) funds
  • Process deposits, bank reconciliations, and check requests
  • Support accounts receivable and billing functions
  • Oversee reception staff and front desk operations
  • Communicate with residents and families regarding billing and account questions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Order and manage office supplies as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in accounts receivable, billing, office management, or financial operations
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare setting preferred
    , but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing financial transactions and reconciliations
  • Experience supervising staff or coordinating office operations is a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
