Named a  Top Place to Work  by the Boston Globe for multiple years, Best Chevrolet, Inc., is a family owned dealership located in Hingham, MA that has been proudly serving the community since 1957.

On a daily basis the dealership has between 80 and 100 customers dropping off their vehicles for a wide range of services.

This is an opportunity for a serious advisor who has the ability to work in one of the busiest service departments in the region.

The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled.

Pay Range: $70,000 up to $120,000 with base plus commission.

  • Compensation varies based on experience, sales performance, CSI scores, training level, and overall productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Qualifications
  • 1-2 year of prior automotive experience preferred
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant preferred
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long‑term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
