the Role

The Ecommerce Product Manager, Checkout works closely with the Senior Director of Ecommerce to build, own, and execute an optimization and innovation roadmap for the Talbots and Haven Well Within websites’ My Account & Checkout journey (Cart, Checkout, Payments, etc). This position manages all back‑of‑funnel (BOF) elements, including cart, mini cart, checkout, express checkout, My Account, payments, address verification, loyalty award redemption, and more to deliver best‑in‑class experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end experience of Back of Funnel (BOF) components and marketing solution integrations, driving improvements in key metrics.
  • Champion customer needs to strategize and execute data‑driven A/B test and optimization roadmaps, developing test hypotheses from insights and business goals.
  • Write clear test briefs and feature requirements (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) in an agile environment, communicating with developers and testers across time zones.
  • Manage the full agile delivery cycle of new feature requirements: web design, feasibility, sizing, solutioning, SEO design, performance, implementation, QA, UAT, release, and measurement.
  • Act as product owner in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze test results and site performance with Analytics to iterate or scale.
  • Partner with stakeholders (Brand, Merchandising, Planning, IT) to develop feature requirements aligned with the roadmap.
  • Analyze customer feedback and session trends to prioritize top concerns.
  • Evaluate competitor websites and ecommerce trends to bring innovative ideas.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and experience in E‑Commerce, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ecommerce product management.
  • Ecommerce experience required, preferably on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to strategize and execute against a robust product roadmap.

Hybrid:
Required days in the Talbots office in Hingham, MA as defined by business needs.
