Aboutthe Role
The Assistant Project Managerisresponsibleforassistingtheprojectmanager (s) intheplanning,management direction,project completion,client satisfaction,andfinancialoutcomeofassignedconstructionprojects.
The Assistant Project Managerwillberequiredtoassistprojectmanager (s) incoordinatingallcontractualrequirements,design drawings,andprojectspecifications.
Responsibilities
- Project setup.
- Issue Certificate of Insurance ,Permit,and Performance/Payment Bondifapplicableforeachproject.
- Readandunderstandtheprojectcontractandprojectspecifications.
- Develop,update,andmonitorthe
Purchase&Delivery Scheduleforeachproject. - Createbuyoutsfromprojectutilizingplans,specsanddocumentsfromestimating.
- Maintainaworkingsetofcontractdocuments(i.e.incorporateallbulletins,ASI'sandsuchwithintheoriginaldocuments) sothatallinformationiscurrent.
- Assisttheprojectmanagerinpricingchangeorders,thencreatechangeorderwithin
Timberlinesystemandsendto
GC/Ownerforapproval. - Issue
RFI's,generatedbyprojectmanager,through the
Timberline(T/L) systemandinternalfoldersystem.
Trackresponsesthrough
T/Lsystemandkeeptrackiftheresponsesarepotentialchangeorders. - Updateallinformationusingour
FTPsite,other resources(Procore,Blue Beam,Share File,Plan Grid) etc.toensuretheprojectforemanhasaccesstoreal-timeupdatedinformationonall
RFI's,submittals,&contract documents. - Assistfieldteammemberswithanyrequeststheymayhaveorrequireforefficiency.
- Requestandassembleall
O&Mmanualsfromcorrespondingvendorfromwhomwepurchasedtheequipment. - Requestvalvetagchartsandas-builtsfromprojectforemanbeforeprojectcompletion.
- Preparethefinalcloseoutdocumentspertheproject'sspecificationsandsubmittothe
GC/Owner. - Assistprojectmanagerwithmonthlyclose,confirmallchangeordersareenteredin
Timberline,andconfirmallsubsinvoicesreceivedforeachjobforthecurrentmonth. - Prepareandprintrequireddocumentsformonthly
CTCmeetings.
Qualifications
Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialdutysatisfactorily.
Therequirementslistedbelowarerepresentativeoftheknowledge,skill,and/orabilityrequired.

- Adegreeinconstructionmanagementorrelevantexperience.

Skills:
Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualshouldhavemid-levelexperienceforworkingwith
Excel,Microsoft Wordand Bluebeam .Experience with Procoreand Sageishelpful . - Other Skillsand Abilities :
