Customer Support Specialist

A leading healthcare organization is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to join their team. Our client, a reputable insurance company, is seeking a support-focused professional for a temporary contract role based Plymouth County, MA (hybrid schedule). This position involves managing client communications related to changes in insurance plans.

• Handle incoming calls and emails related to plan eliminations, providing accurate information and follow-up materials.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and manage high-volume communication effectively.
• Use Microsoft Excel to create formulas that determine client savings.
• Support clients in understanding different health plans, including HMO and PPO options.
• Maintain organized records of client interactions and follow-up activities.

• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the health insurance industry, but any professional services will do.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula writing.
• Previous account management experience, with a focus on high client volume.
• Willingness to learn and understand various health insurance plans.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple client interactions efficiently.
