DESCRIPTION
The Auxiliary Associate supports both the Stay & Play Program and the Auxiliary Office through a combination of direct child supervision and administrative assistance. This part‑time, academic year, hybrid role is ideal for an organized, dependable individual who enjoys working with children and contributing to a well‑run, student‑centered program environment.
STAY & PLAY PROGRAM SUPPORT- Supervise groups of children ranging from Pre‑K through Grade 5, with group size and age levels adjusted based on daily attendance needs.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment that encourages free play, positive social interaction, and age‑appropriate learning.
- Support children in developing conflict resolution skills and respectful communication within mixed‑age groups.
- Facilitate both indoor and outdoor play activities, weather permitting.
- Assist with daily set‑up and clean‑up of program spaces to ensure readiness, organization, and safety.
- Maintain accurate Veracross attendance records for all Auxiliary programs by cross‑referencing enrollment data and generating trimester‑based rosters.
- Organize, file, and maintain auxiliary program paperwork and records.
- Track attendance data and maintain accurate records to support billing processes.
- Assist with monitoring late fees and drop‑in fees in coordination with office procedures.
- Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure smooth day‑to‑day program operations.
This role includes active supervision of children during play as well as clerical work in an office setting. Candidates should be comfortable transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments and supporting children across a range of ages.

REQUIREMENTS- Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting is preferred.
