Executive Director of Enrollment | Hingham, Massachusetts

Notre Dame Academy is an all‑female, Catholic, college‑preparatory middle and high school educating students in grades 6‑12. The Academy, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, guides young women in personal faith formation, academic excellence, and social responsibility.

Position Overview

The Executive Director of Enrollment is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enrollment strategy for the school’s middle and high school programs. This individual leads all aspects of student recruitment, admissions, retention, and enrollment management, ensuring alignment with the academy’s mission, values, and long‑term strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a multi‑year enrollment strategy to meet enrollment targets.
  • Partner with the President and senior leadership on institutional planning and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, demographics, and competitor positioning to inform strategy.
  • Develop annual enrollment goals, budgets, and forecasting models.
  • Manage, recruit, and develop the admissions/enrollment team.
  • Foster a collaborative, results‑driven, and customer‑focused team culture.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership regarding student financial aid.
  • Ensure equitable access and alignment with enrollment goals.
  • Oversee enrollment data systems and reporting.
  • Track key performance indicators such as inquiry conversion rates, yield, and retention.
  • Use data to drive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Admissions & Recruitment
  • Oversee recruitment efforts in partnership with the Director of Admissions, including outreach events, open houses, and campus tours.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to cultivate relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and educational consultants.
  • Ensure a personalized and mission‑aligned admissions experience for all applicants and their families.
Retention & Student Experience
  • Collaborate with academic, student life, and guidance teams to support student retention and re‑enrollment.
  • Monitor student and family satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
  • Develop strategies to strengthen community engagement and student belonging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty, leadership, school counselors, and community organizations to support a robust student pipeline.
Marketing & Communications
  • Develop and implement annual marketing and recruitment plans to attract qualified students.
  • Collaborate with Communications to develop targeted campaigns that attract prospective families.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all enrollment channels.
  • Utilize digital platforms, social media, and data analytics to optimize outreach efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related leadership roles.
  • Experience in independent/private school settings strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting enrollment targets and leading high‑performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using enrollment management systems;
    Ravenna knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to the NDA mission and values of independent school education.

The salary range for this position is $145,000–165,000 annually.
