Role OverviewThis position assists the Director with strategy, development, and selection of merchandise to support business initiatives across departments, the website, and email. It involves communication and collaboration with cross‑functional partners, financial and trend analysis, and the adoption of creative and marketing concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver company financial objectives by achieving revenue, margin, and expense management goals.
- Review business results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring all web, email, category banners, and ad banners meet performance targets.
- Monitor web traffic and conversion, making adjustments to drive results.
- Drive demand through effective merchandising, supporting creative concepts and storylines.
- Create web shops and homepages for testing best practices to increase sales and conversion.
- Build email cadence with compelling stories and products to support traffic and conversion goals.
- Partner with merchants on merchandising stories and investments to enhance the web and email experience.
- Collaborate with the e‑commerce team to establish best practices for sales and conversion.
- Develop a direct e‑commerce merchandising strategy to exceed acquisition and retention goals.
- Utilize partnerships to increase exposure, focusing on test emails, segmentation, unique landing pages, banners, and personalized triggers.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0–2 years of experience in buying, planning, or inventory management (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Innate sense of fashion and ability to analyze and translate trends.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw insights and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
