This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about designing and programming cutting‑edge control systems within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems for automated machinery.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to deliver industry‑leading packaging solutions.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for system commissioning and technical support.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize control systems to support continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in PLC and motion control programming for industrial automation.
- Proficiency with Rockwell platforms, including Compact Logix, Control Logix, and RSLogix.
- Experience with AutoCAD and electrical panel design.
- Strong project management abilities, problem‑solving skills, and hands‑on troubleshooting expertise.
- Familiarity with current trends in automation and instrumentation.
- Background in packaging machinery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience working with Solid Works.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a detail‑oriented and reliable work ethic.
- Knowledge of Intrinsically Safe (Class 1 Division
1) design requirements.
