Process Engineer - Water​/Wastewater

We are looking for a Process Engineer to design, optimize, and manage chemical, physical, and biological processes for complex water and wastewater treatment facilities.

• Perform advanced engineering planning and design tasks on assigned projects, including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and required regulatory applications.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and designs for small projects; support marketing and business-development professionals in proposal writing and client negotiations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and consultants in project- requirements meetings and specifications coordination.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external parties.
• Execute technically complex projects and act as a technical resource to other team members.
• Apply advanced process-engineering knowledge and stay current on new methods and developments.
• Resolve complex issues where precedent may be limited using progressive experience.
• Assist or lead proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Contribute to the development of new process-design standards and specifications.
• Supervise work of other project resources and set project budgets and schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Act as engineer of record for own work product and for work of non-licensed engineers and technologists.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.

• WA, DC & various CA, MA areas – $107,300 – $155,500

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay-transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Final compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles are bonus eligible. Part-time compensation is pro-rated.
