Senior Structural Engineer Specializing In Marine And Waterfront Design

Stantec is seeking a highly qualified senior structural engineer specializing in marine and waterfront design to support our transportation practice in New England. The selected candidate must be able to manage and technically lead teams in the design and construction administration of complex waterfront projects for public and private sector clients throughout the region.

Your key responsibilities include performing structural marine and waterfront engineering assignments, overseeing engineering planning and design assignments, providing technical guidance and mentoring, analyzing complex problems, leading the preparation and coordination of project deliverables, ensuring safe work practices, and coordinating with clients and agencies to obtain and determine project requirements and approvals.

Your capabilities and credentials include being highly skilled in technical and functional aspects of the role, having proven ability in staff supervision and leadership, demonstrating strong collaboration, facilitation, and teamwork skills, possessing strong communication and presentation skills, and having experience with engineering design tools and US Federal agency engineering and construction projects.

Education and experience requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of ten years of relevant structural marine and waterfront structures experience.
