Duties

Working under the general direction of the Executive Health Officer, the employee performs administrative, technical and professional work coordinating case management for mental health and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) health services in the community. Work includes meeting with residents and employees, providing connections to resources, meeting social, health, and OUD needs, and coordinating Hingham’s OUD programming.

Requirements

A candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related degree. Four to six years of demonstrable experience working with client populations in a social service setting. Hold a Massachusetts license as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and/or certification as a LSW Preferred. The Town may consider equivalent education and experience in determining whether a candidate has met the requisite qualifications.

Ability to clear a CORI and any other background checks.
