Desktop Support Technician--- Must be able to go onsite to Hingham, MA office 4x/week

No third party support- there is no sponsorship available, must be a USC or GC holder

This is a contract to hire role

Position Summary:

Provide installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software complying with given standards and guidelines. Build and configure computers and peripherals for new hires, including shipping items to new users. Update and maintain computer inventory and surplus equipment. Level 2 support, resolving technical problems with desktop hardware computing equipment, WIN
11 OS, and software applications. Assist in technical upgrading and maintaining of entire desktop systems. End User Support for mobile mail solution. Demonstrates an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Communicates fluently orally and in writing and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical

Skills:
  • Working knowledge/support of Windows 11 Operating Systems.
  • Experience supporting/troubleshooting current version of Microsoft Office (M365/O365).
  • Strong PC imaging/refresh/IMAC experience (MECM).
  • Support of Network and Personal Print environment.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory including Organizational Units and containers.
  • Software install/troubleshooting skills.
  • Laptop and Desktop Hardware support (Dell).
  • Troubleshooting Network connectivity issues.
  • Effective multi-tasker with excellent time management and customer service skills.
  • Strong experience using MECM Collections, MS-AppV, and MS Intune software deployments and support.
  • Experience working with hardware warranty vendors (Dell).
Experience/

Education:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Desktop Support.
  • BA or BS degree in technology, related field or requisite experience.
  • Experience working with Service Now Ticketing System, or any equivalent IT service ticketing systems.
