Are you an experienced RN with a passion for staff education, clinical excellence, and infection prevention? Harbor House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Full-Time Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (SDC/IP) to join our leadership team.

• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
• At least one (1) year of long-term care/skilled nursing experience required
• Experience with staff education, supervision, and training
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
• Infection Prevention experience is a plus

• Coordinate and lead staff orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Monitor and oversee infection prevention and control practices throughout the facility
• Track and manage infection surveillance and testing programs
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote quality resident care
• Identify educational opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance
• Provide support, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness efforts
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff, residents, and families
