Schedule:
M-F 8am-4:30pm, weekend on-call rotation, every 5-weeks Address: 11 Condito Rd Hingham, MA
Harbor House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Full-Time Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (SDC/IP) to join our leadership team! - Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN or LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of long-term care/skilled nursing experience required
- Experience with staff education, supervision, and training
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
- Infection Prevention experience is a plus
- Coordinate and lead staff orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Monitor and oversee infection prevention and control practices throughout the facility
- Track and manage infection surveillance and testing programs
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote quality resident care
- Identify educational opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance
