What you will be doingThe Kitchen Support position is a role that allows you to provide meals to the residents of the Pat Roche House. Being a part of the Hospice team, your role is crucial in providing care to families at a home that maintains dignity for every patient. The schedule is per diem, 1 weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.
-5 p.m.
- Light cooking, meal preparation, baking and ability to design a food menu weekly (6‑8 meals per day per orders)
- Kitchen clean up: which includes restocking, washing dishes, floors and vacuuming
- Pick up food at supermarket, if needed, and put food away
- Deliver prepared meals to nursing station
Compensation: $20/hr.
What we’re looking for in you- 6 months+ experience with meal prep, cooking, small food assembly
- Interest in a health‑care facility and passion for hospice philosophy is a plus
- Strong people, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to change and willingness to switch gears easily
- Respectful of patient privacy and maintaining confidentiality
- Kitchen certification training available
- Ability to work 1 weekend per month Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.
