Assistant Cook (PT), Glastonbury Abbey, Hingham, MA
Glastonbury Abbey in Hingham, MA is seeking a Chef's Assistant to join our kitchen team in a peaceful, welcoming, community.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone interested in learning the culinary trade. Experience is helpful but not required - we are willing to train the right person.
You will train with our chef preparing and serving lunch and dinner for our community of 10 monks and retreat groups of up to approximately 40 guests.
- 35 hours per week
- Saturday through Wednesday
- Split shift: 9:30am-12:30pm and 4:00pm-7:00pm
- Competitive wages based on experience and skill level
- Hands on training and opportunity to develop culinary skills
