Core Responsibilities- Provide an exceptional in-store experience.
- Meet and exceed daily, monthly, and annual store sales and profit goals while maintaining expenses.
- Lead and manage a team of Brand Stylists.
- Recruit and hire Sales Consultants who represent the NIC+ZOE brand.
- Train and coach Sales Consultants to ensure strong selling skills and client relationship development.
- Motivate staff to meet store goals and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment, including sell-through, stock levels, customer feedback, and opportunities to increase sales to corporate office.
- Ensure merchandising concepts are set up and standards maintained.
- Perform and supervise store opening/closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening, and closing registers, and securing facility.
- Conduct daily store meetings to ensure accurate and consistent brand communication with employees.
- Maintain payroll budget and weekly hours to ensure appropriate sales floor coverage by reviewing store schedule and adjusting as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- Perform inventory responsibilities including the timely and accurate processing of all markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping and receiving in order to maintain operational integrity.
- Develop and maintain a strong client book, driving repeat business through personalized outreach, styling, and relationship management.
- Own overall store performance, acting as the leader of the business within the local market.

- Comfortable operating in a small team environment where the Store Manager is actively engaged in both leadership and day-to-day sales, merchandising, and operational tasks.
- Willingness to flex between clienteling, selling, and operational execution based on business needs.
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to communicate internally at all levels within the organization and externally with clientele.
- Ability to read and analyze selling reports, identify sales trends, and react to the needs of the business.
- Comfort in making decisions and mediating conflict in a team environment.
- Proficient in PC-based software including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as POS systems and mobile devices for clienteling.
- Maintains a professional appearance consistent with brand standards, applied in an inclusive and legally compliant manner.
- Acts as a brand ambassador by modeling styling, product knowledge, and elevated client service behaviors consistent with a premium retail environment.
- Must be available to travel, including occasional overnight trips, to attend corporate meetings, support marketing initiatives, participate in events, or provide selling support at other store locations as needed.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in a retail environment
- Ability to stand and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
- Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, reaching (including overhead), and climbing ladders to access merchandise and maintain visual standards.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and fixtures up to 30-50 pounds as needed.
- Continuous use of hands for tasks such as steaming garments, folding, tagging, processing shipment, and styling clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment requiring sustained energy, attentiveness, and engagement.
- Ability to visually assess merchandise presentation, color, and store standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Comfortable working in both sales floor and stockroom environments, including fluctuating temperatures and limited space in back-of-house areas.
- Ability to safely open and close the store, which may include periods of independent work, while adhering to company safety and security protocols.
