Transform the everyday with us!We are looking for an Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join our team! This position will be based at our Hingham, MA facility.
Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician performs maintenance repair, works with PM's system, executes new equipment installations, upgrades and orders parts and materials. Assists in supervising outside services that support the company as advised by the Maintenance Manager.
Compensation and ScheduleHourly Rate: $26.00 – $32.00

12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Lead all aspects of the general operation, repair, and maintenance of production equipment, perform new installations, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and respond to normal operations problems and emergency situations.
- Apply knowledge of high- and low-voltage systems, including transformers, primary and secondary transformer installations, troubleshooting and repair.
- Check malfunctioning equipment and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor operation and maintain CNC machinery, punching and bending machines, cranes, motors, grinders, hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, electrical and compressed air piping, filters, etc.
- Ensure work is performed efficiently with a minimum of disruption and inconvenience.
- Prioritize all PMs, corrective and emergent work orders for the site (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Identify and remediate all EHS issues as they arise. Follow departmental policy for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ensure availability of an adequate inventory of tools and supplies. Perform periodic checks of inventory levels and equipment conditions, materials, spare parts, etc.
- Support the production department with any urgency related to machines, tools, or equipment that are under maintenance responsibility.
- Must be willing to work on special projects during scheduled off shifts.
- High School or equivalent experience or GED preferred.
- Phenomenal teammate, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, and strong communication in oral and written reports.
- Prior knowledge of the electrical code.
- Training in at least one trade (electrical, mechanical, machine maintenance).
- Familiar with PMs and CMMS.
- Skilled and physically able to operate electric and hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, and operate required equipment.
- Completion of written documentation is required.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
