HVAC Install Apprentice

Compensation: $18.00 - $35.00 / hour
DescriptionMinuteman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a growing residential service company serving Hingham and the South Shore. We're hiring an Install Apprentice to join our installation team, working alongside experienced installers on plumbing install projects. This role is a fit for someone who already knows their way around tools and has some hands‑on experience, and who is ready to be coached and developed further.
Key Responsibilities- Assist lead installers with residential plumbing installation projects
- Handle material prep, staging, and cleanup on install jobs
- Learn proper installation techniques, code requirements, and best practices
- Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Communicate clearly with the lead installer and customers on site
- Follow all safety protocols on every job
- Grow into more independent installation work as skills develop
- Minimum 6 months of hands‑on hvac or tool experience
- Comfortable with tools and general hands‑on work, knows their way around a job site
- Coachable and eager to be trained and developed further
- Fits our culture of doing right by customers, team, and community
- Reliable and able to take direction on the job site
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen
