Position: Senior Financial Controller Role
Elevate financial oversight as a Senior Financial Controller at our Hinton, Alberta site. Manage Accounting and Controlling functions while providing insights for key decision-making.

In this strategic position, you will ensure financial compliance and integrity across all reporting activities. Collaborating with senior leadership, you will implement effective internal controls and guide financial strategy. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering continuous improvement within finance processes and while supporting operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct financial activities including reporting and compliance efforts

• Collaborate with site leadership on financial direction

• Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning cycles

• Support overhauling of cost accounting and inventory control

• Serve as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory entities

Requirements:

• CPA designation is essential

• 8-12 years of comprehensive finance background

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial controls

• Excellent ERP proficiency required; SAP preferred

• Strong analytical mindset and financial modelling abilities
