Gas Fitter​/Plumber Maintenance III

Elevate your career as a Maintenance III Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter with the Grande Yellowhead Public School Division in Hinton. This full-time opportunity immediately seeks to ensure the reliability of essential plumbing and gas services.

In this role, you will deliver important plumbing and gas fitting services under the direction of the Facilities Director. Your qualifications will contribute directly to the maintenance and assessment of school buildings and equipment, requiring both technical skills and personal initiative. Expectations include the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively and work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute plumbing and gas fitting responsibilities with precision

• Analyze school buildings for maintenance requirements

• Employ technology for maintenance tracking

• Work self-sufficiently and interact with the team

• Maintain confidentiality and complete physical duties

Requirements:

• Journeyman's certificate with gas fittings required

• Valid Class 5 Drivers license or above

• Additional certifications (First Aid, WHMIS)

• Competent with maintenance software and technology

• Familiarity with RTU's and Boiler Systems preferred
