Drafting Coordinator

Metromont Corporation, a leader in precast concrete construction, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafting Coordinator to join our innovative engineering and design team. This role is pivotal in translating architectural ideas and structural designs into precise plans for high-quality precast concrete buildings and structures. The successful candidate will facilitate the smooth execution of projects by coordinating drafting efforts, ensuring design accuracy, and adhering to all industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between project managers, engineers, and drafters to ensure clear communication and accurate delivery of drawings.
• Review and verify drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with industry and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate and manage multiple drafting projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Update and maintain drafting logs, databases, and project documentation for seamless operations and historical records.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to the drafting team, solving complex problems as they arise.
• Contribute to improving drafting procedures and standards to enhance workflow efficiency and product quality.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Auto
• CAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
