Exempt PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:
We are seeking a Spare Parts & Procurement Specialist to join our Service & Aftermarket team in Hiram, Georgia. This role is responsible for ensuring the right spare parts are available to support our customers while maintaining efficient inventory levels. Success in this position comes from effectively managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, supporting warehouse operations, and helping drive continuous improvement across our aftermarket supply chain.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the supervisor. Job duties may change as required by the needs of the company.
Spare Parts Inventory Management- Manage aftermarket spare parts inventory to ensure parts availability and support customer service objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stocking strategies based on demand, lead times, and business needs.
- Balance customer responsiveness with inventory investment to optimize service levels and net working capital.
- Analyze inventory usage trends and identify opportunities to improve forecasting, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure critical parts are available when needed.
- Support cycle counting and inventory review activities to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Purchase spare parts, components, and related materials required to support the Service & Aftermarket organization.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery performance, and competitive pricing.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard additional suppliers to support a minimum two-supplier sourcing strategy where appropriate.
- Obtain quotations, compare supplier options, and support cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with suppliers to address delivery, quality, or service issues.
- Help mitigate supply chain risks by maintaining reliable sourcing options for key components.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities for the local spare parts warehouse.
- Work with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to ensure efficient movement of materials.
- Support inventory accuracy through timely and accurate material transactions.
- Assist with warehouse process improvements focused on efficiency, service, and lead-time reduction.
- Administer tools and equipment used in field service projects.
- Coordinate tool tracking, availability, maintenance, and replacement activities.
- Provide general supply chain and materials support to the Service & Aftermarket team as required.
- High School Diploma
- Experience in inventory control, purchasing, warehouse operations, parts management, manufacturing, customer support, or a related business function.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
- Experience using SAP is required.
- Comfortable using business systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to make practical business decisions.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and help implement effective solutions.

- Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, and Operations Management
- Experience supporting industrial equipment, manufacturing, service, distribution, or logistics operations.
- Experience with inventory planning, materials management, procurement, or supplier coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
- Experience working with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
