Hazmat Technician

Gillmann Services is seeking a Skilled Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will handle hazardous materials related to oil spills, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform safe handling, containment, and disposal of hazardous materials.

-Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment related to hazmat and oil processes.

-Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

-Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure safety and efficiency.

-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines and standards.

Qualifications:

-Familiarity with tools.

-Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

-Reliable transportation to job sites and flexibility with work hours, including weekends or overtime if required.
