Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

- Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk‑ins and same‑day appointments as sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up
- Perform minor office procedures – laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments
- Perform physicals: sports, DOT, pre‑employment, annual
- Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries
- 2+ years’ experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s degree (Family Nurse Practitioner) and appropriate state license
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood‑borne pathogens and related compliance standards
- Detail‑oriented and confident in medical best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications
- Experience with occupational health practices, including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, and physicals
- Respect and autonomy in decision‑making
- Team‑based approach to patient care
- ACLS / BLS certifications (provided if needed)
