Role
The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team on a 28-bed med-surg unit, mainly post-surgical, with telemetry and general med-surg cases. They practice according to evidence-based standards, promoting relationship-based care, cultural competence, and patient and family engagement.
ResponsibilitiesPerform the nursing process, coordinate care, support performance improvement, and participate in professional development as a preceptor or mentor. Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to policies, and support efficient resource utilization. Contribute to protocol development and participate in quality initiatives.
QualificationsRequires an Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing degree, valid RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills, and be capable of responding effectively in fast-paced and emergency situations.
