Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members. They follow recipes, wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure members have the freshest items. They juggle multiple tasks while helping members with orders.

- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicates with team members, and stays flexible to the needs of the business.
- Be an Expert: Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs, operates baking equipment, follows recipes, wraps, labels, and stores merchandise, ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management, operates and sanitizes equipment, and demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, maintains the work area according to company policies, ensures quality and date control for bakery items, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminates waste, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing basics at the highest possible level of quality, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; determines and recommends improvement opportunities; and adapts to change.

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour.
