Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to manage the overall upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of our local facility and specialized equipment. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, functional environment for our staff and distributors through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.
Core Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and servicing of critical systems (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) to prevent failure and minimize downtime. - Facility Repairs:
Execute skilled and semi-skilled repairs including carpentry, painting, drywall, and floor maintenance. - Equipment Upkeep:
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with facility-related machinery such as compressors, pumps, and motors. - Vendor Coordination:
Oversee outside contractors for major specialized repairs or services (e.g., landscaping). - Grounds & Safety:
Maintain clean and safe interior/exterior areas, perform security checks, and strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Experience:
1–5 years of hands‑on experience in building trades or industrial maintenance. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with hand/power tools and ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions. - Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Certifications:
HVAC (EPA Universal), electrical, or forklift certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Safety:
Steel‑toed boots are required at all times. - Screening:
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test prior to employment.
