Sr. Accountant

Description

Responsibilities

+ Oversee month-end close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and related financial reporting activities

+ Perform revenue recognition analysis and post necessary adjustments to ensure accurate financial close

+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts; maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts; conduct variance analysis to support financial accuracy

+ Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards

+ Contribute to the development and review of the annual operating budget

+ Support quarterly, interim, and year-end internal and external audit processes

+ Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as needed

Requirements

Keys:

+ Bachelor's in accounting or finance

+ Strong SAP experience

+ Manufacturing industry or similar industry

+ Power BI is big plus

+ Cost accounting is a plus
