Innovations In Learning, PC, is a multi-faceted agency located in Merrillville, IN. We provide intensive ABA services to children with Autism, Behavior Management therapy, Day Services for adults with disabilities, and outpatient services for children and adults. Our programs are based on empirically based interventions with measurable goals for effective treatment. Our main center is on Georgia Street in Merrillville.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Innovations In Learning. The counselor will be responsible for treatment planning, providing mental health and psychology services, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions.
Qualifications- Treatment Planning, Mental Health, and Psychology skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana
- Experience working with individuals with Autism or disabilities is a plus
