Position Summary

Custodian

Ideal Candidate

• Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship
• Ability to work 2nd Shift hours 2:30pm-11:00pm CST Monday-Friday
• Ability to work weekends/overtime if necessary

Pay Rate: $15.00-$17.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility in a sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings
• Apply cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces
• Empty trash containers and dispose of debris appropriately
• Sweep and vacuum floors
• Clean stains from carpets and upholstery
• Damp‑dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and other surfaces
• Clean bathrooms including toilets, wash basins, and mirrors
• Identify and report needed repairs
• Wash windows
• Replenish supplies such as cafeteria and bathroom items
• Comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures
• Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Great communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
