Position Summary

The Custodian -1st Shift cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary, comfortable work environment.

Ideal candidate

• Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship
• Ability to work 1st Shift, hours 8:00am-4:30pm Tuesday-Saturday
• Ability to work weekends/overtime if necessary

Pay Rate

$15.00-$17.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings
• Applies cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces
• Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately
• Sweeps and vacuums floors
• Cleans stains from carpets and upholstery
• Damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and other surfaces
• Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, wash basins, and mirrors
• Identifies and reports needed repairs
• Washes windows
• Replenishes supplies, such as cafeteria and bathroom items
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
