Position SummaryThe Sales Order Packer carefully identifies and labels items prior to packing materials received from other departments. The Sales Order Packer also works with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.
Responsibilities- Carefully identify and label items prior to packaging of materials received from other departments.
- Work with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.
- Prepare accurate orders for outbound shipments.
- Use a computer program (Wynsoft) to stage product to a container.
- May be required to use material handling equipment (forklift) following all safety rules.
- Comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement, leading to industry performance and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience operating forklift equipment is a plus.
- Experience with inventory is a plus.

- Hearing: perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels, with or without correction; receiving detailed oral communication; making fine discriminations in sound.
- Repetitive motions: making substantial movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Required to have close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at close distances.
- Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
- Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
- Work is under inside environmental conditions with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.
