2nd Shift Sales Order Packer
Job Location: US-IN-Hobart
# of Openings: 4
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm)

OverviewThe Sales Order Packer carefully identifies and labels items prior to packaging materials received from other departments, works with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time, and prepares accurate orders for outbound shipments.
Responsibilities- Carefully identifying and labeling items prior to packaging materials received from other departments.
- Working with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.
- Preparing accurate orders for outbound shipments.
- Using a computer program (Wynsoft) to stage product to a container.
- May be required to use material handling equipment (forklift) while following all safety rules.
- Ensuring compliance with Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Driving continuous improvement to achieve leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience operating forklift equipment (a plus).
- Experience with inventory (a plus).

Visual Acuity:
- Required to have close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines.
- Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
- Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
