Youth Pastor, Hobart

The Crossing is prayerfully seeking a Youth Pastor (married couple preferred) or an individual who has a genuine heart for the next generation and a passion for helping young people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are a congregation of approximately 115–120 and are thankful to be experiencing steady growth. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to help shape, build, and influence the spiritual future of both our church family and the surrounding community.

The Youth Pastor will serve as a vital member of our ministry team, discipling, encouraging, and connecting students to Christ and to the life of the church. This role provides room for creativity, strong relationship-building, and long-term ministry development within a supportive church environment.

Cultivate Christ-centered relationships with students.

Lead and/or facilitate youth small groups and gatherings.

Provide sound biblical teaching, mentorship, and spiritual guidance.

Foster a welcoming, safe, and spiritually engaging environment.

Partner with the Senior Pastor and church leadership in advancing the vision of the church.

Encourage youth participation in worship, outreach, and church-wide events.

Credentialed with the Church of God (CAMs & MIP).

Demonstrates a genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Possesses a clear heart for youth and a commitment to discipleship.

Relates to young people with wisdom, grace, and integrity.

Exhibits reliability, teachability, and a servant’s heart.

Church of God background is preferred but not required.

Stipend available.

Flexible structure, well-suited for bi-vocational ministry or ministry development.
