Job Title

This position will work closely with the Support Services Supervisor, Peer Support Workers, Community Support Workers, and the Director of Community Services, to ensure the administrative needs for the program are met. This employee will ensure timely and accurate submission of reporting for the assigned program(s).

Job Duties
  • Will serve as the primary assistant to the Support Services Supervisor.
  • Responsible for answering the telephone and directing calls, clients and assisting with all correspondence.
  • Responsible for organizing, filing administrative correspondence, and maintaining assigned program(s) administrative files.
  • Maintain and update Support Services caseloads and spreadsheet in coordination with the Support Services Supervisor.
  • Process and report opt-ins, opt-outs for Support Services.
  • Monitors Collective Medical for recent Emergency Room visits, notifies assigned Staff and other departments.
  • Assist with organization of meetings and special events as directed by the Director of Community Services and Support Services Supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality for all information regarding clients, staff, physicians, and Guidance Center of Lea County (GCLC) obtained as a result of employment at GCLC.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Services and Care Link Supervisor.
Qualifications

Minimum

  • High School diploma or high school equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including letters, memos, and emails.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be personable with an ability to work in high stress environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in medically integrated mental health services.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
Level and Degree of Supervision

Supervised by the Support Services Supervisor. Participation in general staff meetings and team meetings. Expected to be highly self-directed and possess strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Conditions of Work

Hiring and promotion will be accomplished in compliance with Guidance Center's Personnel Policies and Procedures. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requires a minimum 40 hours per week. Hours and/or days may vary according to need. Overtime (time and 1/2) will be paid for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week. Travel is required of employees for delivery of services, training, or conferences.

Personal transportation is mandatory.
