The Road Laborer will be responsible for monitoring road construction and repairing road by hand. This physically demanding, hands‑on role ensures road safety and requires working outdoors in various conditions. Position may include day or night shift work, travel, overtime, and weekend work.
Work site is near Coyote Creek State Park.
PRIMARY DUTIES- Level road with rake and shovel
- Maintain appropriate levels of wind row and check depth of lift.
- Pack asphalt and subbase with packer/tamper.
- Uses shovels, rakes, and other equipment
- Comply with all OSHA and company policies, procedures, and standards of safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- OSHA certificate or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification
- Extended out-of-town travel, night shift, and/or weekend work may be required
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test
