** Job Summary
** Conoco Phillips holds approximately 792,000 unconventional net acres in the Delaware Basin, spanning west Texas through southeast New Mexico. Current development activity targets prospects in the Avalon, Bone Springs and Wolfcamp formations while balancing leasehold obligations and permit terms. We operated ten rigs and two frac crews on average during 2024, resulting in 166 operated wells drilled and 151 operated wells brought online.
The company began exploring and appraising the basin’s stacked pay potential in 2012 and has gained extensive technical expertise to optimize development. At the beginning of 2024, the company operated over 2,800 producing wells throughout the Basin.
In 2024, net production averaged 593 MBOED.

** At Conoco Phillips, our Lease Operators—known internally as Multi-Skill Operators (MSOs)—play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable oil and gas production across our assets. This field-based position offers the opportunity to work independently in dynamic outdoor environments, using your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to make a real impact.

**** Your responsibilities may include:
*** Perform daily field operations across assigned wells and facilities in
** Southeast New Mexico,
** monitoring equipment and production performance to ensure safe, reliable flow and timely response to operational needs
* Inspect tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and pipelines to identify and prevent leaks or operational issues
* Gauge tanks to measure crude oil and water levels for safe and efficient transfers
* Operate and troubleshoot compressors, gas lift wells, sand traps, and flowback equipment
* Maintain chemical injection rates and execute well start-up/shut-in procedures
* Enter and validate production data in digital systems to support accurate reporting and decision-making
* Participate in facility walk-throughs, safety reviews, and regulatory documentation
* Update piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and site security documentation
