Job Description: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help clients of all ages develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. You will assist in the implementation of personalized treatment plans and collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support our clients' occupational therapy goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of clients' physical, emotional, and social abilities.
  • Help develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and assist in adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support client success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions on occupational therapy goals.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting.
  • Valid state certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus.
