Smith Ford of Lordsburg is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position focuses on building, customizing and installing truck beds and bumpers to exact specifications for businesses, ranchers, and individual customers. Projects include custom flatbeds, service bodies, ranch hand bumpers, and other fabrication work.

Responsibilities include:

• fabrication and welding of custom truck beds and accessories
• reading and working from specs or design requests
• ability to maintain a clean and organized shop
• operating welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently

Required skills and experience:

• welding experience with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
• ability to operate a plasma cutter
• fabrication knowledge preferred
• attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Schedule and Pay:

• Monday - Friday
• weekends off
• pay depends on experience
