Nursing Manager - Emergency Department

Overview

Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s). Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.

Provide nursing leadership and supervision to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient unit operations in a designated clinical area.

• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire:
  New Mexico Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years professional nursing experience
• 2 years clinical experience in specific clinical area

• Master s Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire: ACLS and/or PALS
• Upon hire:
  Specialty certification related to practice
• Upon hire:
  Maintains chemotherapy hospital-based certification (Medical Oncology and Physician Offices)
• 2 years supervisory/leadership experience
• Computer skills

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
