FLOAT POOL Registered Nurse-Float Pool RN Up to $30K SIGN ON BONUS

- Conduct initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on age, clinical presentation, and psychosocial needs.
- Perform ongoing patient reassessments to monitor progress, identify trends, and determine when intervention is required.
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized patient care plans in accordance with established nursing standards and timelines.
- Make clinical nursing decisions based on patient assessments, evaluation findings, and outcomes, modifying care plans as needed.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Deliver and document timely nursing interventions that address patient needs and promote positive outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make appropriate adjustments.
- Perform and document point-of-care testing and related procedures.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to support positive patient and team outcomes.
- Delegate patient care activities and unit responsibilities appropriately to ensure efficient workflow and quality care delivery.
- Coordinate team assignments and adjust workloads based on patient acuity and operational needs.
- Monitor delegated tasks to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Follow established escalation procedures to address complex issues and concerns.
- Assist with the orientation and training of new staff members and students.
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, healthcare providers, and colleagues by providing professional and courteous support.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Demonstrate openness to feedback, change, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and organizational development efforts.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient care and organizational objectives.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
- Additional role-specific certifications may be required and must be maintained according to organizational standards.
