Seasonal Merchandiser – Carlsbad, NM

Job Summary:

Display and arrange beverage products on shelves and displays to attract customers. Provide excellent customer service to store owners and customers. Resolve complaints or grievances effectively. Operate independently with a high level of accuracy. Lift up to 70 pounds. Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange products according to prearranged plan or approved ideas.
• Place price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfer product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize store product, and minimize stock room inventory.
• Order product for assigned accounts following established procedures to prevent out‑of‑stock conditions.
• Origin display ideas or follow suggestions or schedule from Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate daily with key store personnel on service or product needs.
• Construct or assemble display aids from company‑provided POS materials.
• Wear company-provided uniform with a professional, well‑groomed appearance.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age 21.
• Experience in retail merchandising preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds and work outdoors in moderate noise and varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Self‑motivated, good communication skills, and ability to work without direct supervision.

Work Hours:

• Seasonal assignment.
• Non‑traditional hours, including weekends and holidays may be required.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
