Communications Technician B or C - Hobbs, NM

Summary

This position performs installation and maintenance of Business Systems Network Equipment on Voice, Microwave, Radio, and Data systems. The technician reports to the Amarillo Operations Service Center.

• Must be a company employee or possess a two‑year technical degree in Electronics, Digital Equipment, or Telecommunications. Employees who have the required degree and the journeyman level will start as a Technician

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds daily and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Must be willing to travel overnight and be on a 7×24 emergency callout list.
• Work will be performed both inside and outside of the facility.

Anticipated starting base pay: $39.80 to $55.60 per hour.
