Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary

The Electrical Journeyman role is field-based, ensuring NES builds high-quality, customer-friendly, top-of-the-line packages. This role reports to the Superintendent and maintains communication with teammates to meet project needs. As a member of the NES Team, the Journeyman is accountable for timely, code-compliant completion of projects.

• Conforms to company and customer safety procedures.
• Participates in project safety meetings.
• Completes projects on time.
• Works with customer project lead as necessary.
• Attends job site daily.
• Maintains required crew productivity levels.
• Coordinates project requirements as needed.
• Provides call‑out support if required.
• Responds to miscellaneous project-specific requests.

• Possesses journeyman license as required by state.
• Has 4 or more years of electrical service work experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge of electrical codes.
• Can understand and explain schematics and technical manuals.
• Willing to travel.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Two‑year trade degree in related field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
