Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Core qualifications:2–5 years of bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in Quick Books (Desktop, as applicable).Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and journal entries.
Ability to maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close.
Comfortable working with small business owners and handling multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Candidate should be located in NJ.Preferred:
Bookkeeping or accounting certification (a plus, not required)
